The Senior Engineer, Information Security is responsible for leading the design, implementation, and optimization of enterprise security systems and protocols. This role provides strategic input, drives complex projects, mentors’ junior engineers, and serves as a key advisor to leadership on threat intelligence, architecture improvements, and risk mitigation. This position demands deep technical expertise, broad knowledge of security frameworks, and a proactive mindset in defending the organization from evolving cyber threats. This position reports to the Director, Information Security and is part of the Information Technology Department located in Pune, India and will be an on-site role. In this role, you will have the opportunity to: · Lead investigations of complex security incidents, determining root cause, impact, and remediation actions. · Serve as an escalation point for junior analysts during incident response activities. · Oversee continuous monitoring of security events, ensuring timely detection and response aligned to organizational #SLAs. · Lead and coordinate security assessments, vulnerability scans, and penetration tests to identify and mitigate risks. · Drive continuous improvement initiatives for intrusion detection/prevention systems, endpoint protection, #IDS/IPS, #NGFW, and related technologies.
