Work on all areas of surfacing, which can encompass texture painting, procedural texturing, shading and lookdev, grooming, instancing, UV layout and sculpting, often with a primary focus on characters or environments. __ Create high quality stylized textures, either hand painted or procedural, to a level of detail necessary for production assets. __ Create stylized but physically plausible shading and lookdev, while strictly following department standards and conventions. __ Interpret 2D designs, reference material and artistic direction and translate that into 3D textures and surfacing while maintaining the original artistic intent. __ Assume responsibility for ensuring assigned work is produced to the expected standard of quality within the scheduled timeframe and deadline. __ Maintain good communication with the Surfacing Lead, production and the team. __ Help establish and maintain a consistent style for the project. __ Collaborate with grace, humility, inclusion, and open-mindedness
