Preparation and execution of material requisitions for bulk pipe, valves and supports, and other piping components. __ Preparation of pipe and piping component related calculations, minimum pipe wall thickness calculations, and material evaluations to ASME B31.1, B31.1 and other codes & standards. __ Prepare, coordinate, and maintain piping and valve #technical specifications, piping material class sheets/specifications and/or material requisitions, bid evaluations and award recommendations. __ Perform detailed supplier bid technical evaluations and supplier document reviews. __ Reviews #Piping and Instrument Diagrams (P&ID) for piping material applicability. __ Coordinate with Supply Chain function (Buyers, Expeditors, etc.) as well as various suppliers regarding #technical requirements of purchase orders. __ Disposition of supplier deviation requests and Request for Information (RFIs). __ Disposition of Nonconformance Reports (NCRs) and Field Change Documents (FCDs) generated by Construction.
