As a Ground Engineering Professional within Amentum, you will play a critical role in managing ground risk by delivering geotechnical assessment, analysis, design and construction supervision to a diverse range of existing and future projects across the UK and internationally. This work can involve: __ Preliminary Source, Feasibility, value engineering, innovation and sustainability studies. __ Land and overwater ground investigations including advanced in situ and laboratory testing and data management. __ Ground characterisation, parametrisation and modelling of soil and rock. __ Numerical and FE analyses of geotechnical problems, including seismic and dynamic analysis. __ Geotechnical analysis and design of innovative and sustainable structures such as: Routine and complex design within soil and rock, SSI and seismic SSSI, Deep and shallow Foundations, Retaining walls, #Basements and #Cofferdams, #Earthworks, reinforced earth and geotextiles, Ground Improvement including vibrational, mixing and grouting methodologies, Ground anchors, soil nails, rock bolts etc __ Specification for construction purposes. __ Technical construction assurance. __ For the right ground engineering candidates there are opportunities to develop at all levels within our organisation.
