Central to the success of the role will be your people skills, building effective relationships and interacting with multiple internal and external stakeholders in multiple locations. __ You’ll also work closely with colleagues to support activities that offer the best service to the client. Through your interactions, you’ll be able to gather useful intelligence on client needs and work with the team to deliver innovative solutions. __ You’ll utilise your strong communication and engagement skills to achieve client, people and business outcomes, working with your team and peers that are based in different locations across the UK. __ We’re continuously evolving and growing the business, so there’s plenty of opportunity to evolve and grow your skills and career too. __ This role will be based at one of our Energy offices (Newcastle, Warrington, Gloucester, or Knutsford). We put flexibility at the heart of what we do and we’re happy to consider flexible working patterns. Key responsibilities could include: __ Support the #design, #development, #testing, and implementation EC&I systems within nuclear projects Produce design calculations, technical specifications, drawings, and reports to project and regulatory requirements Support requirements capture and a Systems Engineering approach for new architectures Contribute across the project lifecycle from bid generation, through concept and detailed design development to installation and commissioning __ Work on systems integration, testing and validation of PLC, SCADA and simulator systems __ Assist in the preparation of design safety documentation and compliance with nuclear safety standards __ Participate in site surveys, inspections, and commissioning activities __ Contribute to problem-solving, technical investigations, and root cause analysis __ Produce high-quality technical reports Build and maintain valuable relationships with peers, partners and clients
