The candidate will be responsible to lead and participate in the development of the Electrical systems design for various projects across a range of industries, including #nuclear, #defence, #process, pharmaceuticals etc. __ The role will involve the production and checking of engineering deliverables to support design development across the full design lifecycle, including concept, basic, and detail design phases, and to provide support to procurement activities, construction, and testing and commissioning. __ Furthermore, participation in development of bid and tender information including engineering workhour and merchant account estimates, programs and schedules is required. __ The candidate will be responsible for providing technical support to all aspects of electrical engineering. __ The role requires knowledge and experience in project delivery with experience of optioneering, front-end design and detail design, procurement, and supporting construction, testing and commissioning. __ Specific responsibilities are: Lead and take responsibility for the delivery of the design aspects of the project. __ Contribute to the production of multi discipline design documentation such as, but not limited to: Project Requirement Documents, Basis of Design, Project Verification Plans, Quality Plans, Design Justification Report. __ Determine project requirements independently __ Review / checking of design documents and electrical deliverables developed by design teams. __ Ability to estimate hours for scope changes or additional works along with outlining supporting schedule for the discipline. __ Support and contribute to the delivery of Design Reviews. __ Produce Reports and documentation to comply with CDM. __ This role requires interface with Integrated Design Team, facility team (including systems engineering), other project functions and must work closely throughout project phases. __ Actively participate in the technical development of electrical engineering team members including apprentices, graduates, and junior engineers. __ Actively contribute to the procedural and technical working of the department with the production of department procedures, work instructions, design guides, and templates.
