This role combines technical leadership and software development with a focus on system reliability, automation, and observability, ensuring our Home Lending platforms run smoothly in production. __ Partners and collaborates with product, architecture, security and operations teams to prioritize reliability and embed best practices across the software development lifecycle __ Lead and develop resilient software #solutions that improve reliability, scalability and system performance of the Loan Origination System (LOS) __ Lead evaluation sessions with external vendors, startups, and internal teams to assess architectural designs, technical credentials, and applicability for use within existing systems __ #Design, develop and automate #operational workflows to improve Mean Time to Resolve (MTTR) and Mean Time to Detect (MTTD) __ Enhance observability by identifying gaps in the user journey and building monitoring, logging and alerting to ensure service health within thresholds and SLAs across internal systems and third-party integrations __ Lead and participate in on-call rotations, incident response and post-mortems __ Proactively identify hidden problems and patterns in data and use insights to drive #operational improvements to coding hygiene and system architecture __ Execute software solutions, design, development, and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond conventional approaches __ Create secure and high-quality production code and maintain algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systems __ Produce architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while ensuring design constraints are met by software #code development __ Contribute to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologies
