As a Structural/Architectural Designer, you will be helping to execute assignments concerned with specialized or unique engineering requirements in a global business unit. This involves exploration of the subject area and may involve the development of novel concepts, approaches, and solutions. You will be interfacing and coordinating with other engineering disciplines and the client in the development of the design. __ Upon initial hire and onboarding, the position will require full time presence in the Reston, Virginia project office. Part-Time telework flexibility may be an option as the project progresses. __ Major Responsibilities: This role will support design development structural & Architectural engineering designs for the project by preparing studies, drawings, and evaluations, in accordance with applicable #procedures, #codes, #standards, and contract requirements.  Work with other architects, structural designers/engineers and technical disciplines in a team environment. __ Originate and check Civil/Structural/Architectural deliverables, including architectural & structural steel design drawings. Originate and check Civil/Structural/Architectural deliverables, including architectural & structural concrete forming and reinforcing design drawings. Report design quantities compared to estimated quantities. Participate in project design/model reviews. Participate in constructability reviews. Coordinate closely with other technical disciplines in executing work as an integrated team.
