Manages their own project, which is expected to yield one or more publications including conference abstract proceedings. __ Develops expertise in #immunotherapy and treatment approaches. __ Supports team working on development of immunotherapies applied to cancer. __ Employs or learns methods to support formulation, characterization, and immunotherapy techniques. __ Mentors doctoral, master’s and undergraduate students engaged in independent research activities. __ Develops proficiency in career skills, including writing, public speaking, networking, and critical evaluation of scientific literature. __ Presents scientific work both inside and outside the University with excellent oral communication skills. __ Assists with grant preparation and reporting, and contributes to laboratory organization including meeting planning. __ Designs research experiments, evaluates research findings and reports results. __ Conscientious discharge of research responsibilities. __ Maintains conformity with ethical standards in research. __ Maintains compliance with good #laboratory practice including the maintenance of adequate research records. __ Engages in open and timely discussion with their mentor regarding possession or distribution of material, reagents, or records belonging to their laboratory and any proposed disclosure of findings or techniques privately or in publications. __ Collegial conduct towards co-trainees, staff members and members of the #research group. __ Adherence to all applicable University policies, procedures and regulations. __ All data, research records and materials and other intellectual property generated in University laboratories remain the property of the University.
