Sets up, calibrates and monitors recording #equipment necessary for PSG, MSLT, MAD, INSPIRE, and PAP Tiration to ensure artifact free tracings. __ Recognizes and records #clinical and physiological relevant events. __ Detects and corrects equipment malfunctions. __ Interprets polysomnogram data. Interviews patients to obtain sleep history. __ Handles phone calls; answers questions for patients and physicians. __ Prepares for patients in high-risk situations, as with cardiac or pulmonary problems. __ Aids in the training of new trainees. __ Supervises and coordinates activities of other outpatients. __ Checks inventories and order supplies as needed. __ Assists with general maintenance and organization of the #lab area. __ Performs other duties as assigned.
