Provide leadership for #safety on the project. This includes safety orientation, preparation of safety procedures and leading #Bechtel and subcontractor safety meetings. __ Inspect the site for any unsafe conditions and practices and take appropriate corrective action to correct #breaches. __ Champion the cause of ZERO Accident Philosophy. __ Supervise and direct contractor(s) in a supervisor capacity within the civil and earthworks disciplines, and other areas and disciplines as required __ Ensure the most current design documents are provided to subcontractors to complete work, and that all design changes are approved prior to implementation __ Monitor the activities of subcontractors to ensure compliance with specifications and schedules __ Responsible for the #cost, schedule and optimization of craft labour and maintaining the three-week look ahead schedule for #labour and equipment
