Plans #structural layout, prepares detailed structural #design and layout drawings for small structures, portions of major buildings, etc. __ Ensures designs are compliant with local and #national regulations. __ Designs structures using knowledge of structural #analysis, including #statics, dynamics, and materials engineering. __ Determines the appropriate use of various structural elements such as steel and concrete to ensure appropriate material is used based on load or stress requirements. __ Originates structural engineering deliverables, such as steel and concrete calculations, specifications, and #material requisitions. __ Review customer & #vendor information from subcontractors and #integrate it into the design solution. __ Participates in reviews and recommends approval of design drawings and #data for compliance with requirements. __ Prepares procurement and subcontract requisition documents and performs associated technical bid evaluations with award recommendations.
