Prepare and check #design and procurement documents including but not limited to P&IDs, supporting calculations, #data sheets, engineering specifications, and material requisitions. __ Prepare specifications and data sheets for unique, requirement driven equipment, perform as the #technical representative for the associated purchase order or subcontract, review #vendor submittals, and manage the selected supplier’s technical performance. __ Evaluates, selects, and applies standard #mechanical engineering methods, #techniques, procedures, and criteria to support engineering design decisions. __ Designs, #develops, modifies, and evaluates mechanical components and processes utilizing relevant Engineering Department Procedures (EDPs), design standards and guides, and #Bechtel Standard Application Programs (BSAPs). __ Coordinates mechanical engineering efforts in assigned areas with specialty groups, engineering disciplines, the client, vendor, #contractors, construction and other functional groups. __ Prepares conceptual studies, designs, reports, or proposals.
