#ACB #Caribbean is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced individual for the position of Junior #Broker, to provide #sales and #trade execution support for the brokerage function. The successful candidate will be responsible for supporting the promotion and sale of ACB Investments’ #products and #services to clients within the local and regional markets, assisting in achieving the unit’s brokerage sales and income targets through proactive client engagement and follow-up, contributing to the preparation and distribution of marketing and client collateral, conducting basic market #research and assisting in gathering data to support product development initiatives. __ The duties to be performed include, but are not limited to the following: To provide sales and trade execution support for the brokerage function. Support the promotion and sale of ACB Investments’ products and services to clients within the local and regional markets. Assist in achieving the unit’s brokerage sales and income targets through proactive client engagement and follow-up. Contribute to the preparation and distribution of marketing and client collateral Conduct basic market research and assist in gathering data to support product development initiatives. Interviews prospective clients and ensures full disclosure of information before accepting trade orders. Ensures all trades are consistent with customers’ investment objectives and risk profiles. Ensures at all times that funds are received from clients prior to accepting and processing a purchase order. Ensures settlement and processing of all trading activities within the stipulated T+1 days in accordance with regulatory requirements. Assists in preparing Trade Blotters for trades to be executed. Assists in preparing investment articles, market reviews, newsletters and other literature for publication to both existing (internal and external) and prospective clients. Assists in preparing and submitting periodic reports for all capital market activities. Assist in the client onboarding process, including compiling and submitting KYC documentation for approval and ensuring accurate entry of client information into the system. Assist in preparing and issuing statements such as client account statements, trade confirmations, and related investment reports. Ensures that security measures are met and internal control procedures are followed throughout the department/unit to minimize fraud, forgeries and irrevocable losses and reduce non-compliance. __ To perform the job successfully, the individual must meet the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Management, Accounting or related field from an accredited college or university; or at least two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Knowledge or familiarity with investment products such as equities, bonds, mutual funds, and other capital market instruments. Will be required to pass the Eastern Caribbean Securities Market (ECSM) Certification Course This position requires two (2) years relevant experience working in a similar environment to be able to master it. Ability to work and communicate effectively in a financial environment. Intermediate computer skills/knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Good interpersonal and communications skills- verbal and written Maintains confidentiality Integrity and initiative Organised Systems oriented Flexible team player
