The coding officer carries out the following activities, in compliance with the guidelines established by the coding coordinator, existing procedures, and according to the programs established by the management system: __ Assign the code relative to the base class, class, and function of the related item. __ Inserts the code and related parameters into the master data __ Create/update bill of materials links and report the raw material and semi-finished product requirements indicated in the technical specifications __ Assign a work cycle based on instructions provided by the Time and Methods staff __ Calculate the cost of the product __ Provides support in managing area projects: implementation of SAP management software
