To support the Financial Controller set-up the #Finance function within #Tokyo as part of the pre-opening team. Primarily responsible for executing #Accounts Receivable & Accounts Payable duties locally. __ Main Duties: __ To support he Financial Controller in managing all daily accounting operations. __ Accounts Receivable Duties __ To check all sales have been posted to the Finance System and check for any discrepancies between POS and Finance system. __ To post and reconcile all membership receipts. __ To reconcile on a weekly basis SAGE, Bank, Opera, and My Micros. __ To investigate and resolve variances for under/over banking from payment providers to POS system. __ To issue #sales invoices and reconcile payments when received. __ To reconcile all deposits and receipts for Member events, Private hire or future events. __ To reconcile all #e-commerce revenue from the Soho House APP. __ To post bank transactions to SAGE and weekly reconciliation, allocating receipts and payments to correct nominals. __ To accurately post and process all intercompany charges. __ FX revaluations __ To analyse event income and large data sets and present findings to the Financial Controller on a regular basis. __ To prepare the Balance Sheet and reconciliations. __ To create Audit reports as requested and respond to any Audit queries. __ To set up ad hoc payments. __ To process all site refunds. To support and test any new Finance Transformations. __ Accounts Payable Duties To process statement reconciliations of all suppliers across the site. __ To follow-up and resolve any supplier queries. __ To review and investigate any unallocated cash. __ To assist with debit balances, requesting refunds where appropriate. __ To assist with the requesting of VAT invoices after a proforma payment has been made. __ To support any process and system changes that are implemented for the improvement of the AP Process and deliverables. __ To assist with the setting up and then processing of invoices via Adaco. __ To process all utility invoices. __ To raise inter-company journals. __ To support with ERP testing, ensuring best practice.
