Job Description Primary Duties & Responsibilities: Daily responsibilities include the cleaning of areas such as entryways, restrooms, other common areas, including stairwells, hallways, laundry areas, etc. and, as determined by your business unit, occupied or vacant residential units, dining facilities or other building space. This includes, but is not limited to, dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, wiping down flat surfaces, cleaning glass, taking out trash, replacing linens or other supplies, and other custodial/housekeeping duties as assigned. Frequency of housekeeping duties may also fluctuate with the academic year. Daily communication with #housekeeping supervisor is crucial to relay any issues associated with an assignment, a #building or space, occupant concerns, or other building needs including supplies and equipment. Report noticeable maintenance issues to your immediate #supervisor or other designated contact; report any suspicious person to Campus Police; follow the rules and regulations of WashU in St. Louis. Perform other duties as assigned.
