(This is generally part of Soho House floor manager roles.)  • Handle guest feedback, complaints, and special requests professionally, always aiming to “wow” the guest.  • Understand the food & beverage menu to make recommendations and answer guest questions.  3. Operational Excellence • Monitor and maintain standards: quality of food, beverages, hygiene, safety.  __ Oversee opening and closing procedures for #service areas.  __ Prepare and manage staff rotas (schedules), ensuring efficient staffing while controlling labor costs. __ Work with other departments (e.g., kitchen, housekeeping) to coordinate service and deliver a consistent experience.  __ Lead by example: maintain a professional presence, encourage high standards of grooming and service.  __ Train the floor team through regular briefings, tastings, or product knowledge sessions (e.g., on food, drink).  __ Use Soho House’s internal learning platforms (like “Soho Learn”) to help grow your team’s skills.  __ Ensure all health and safety regulations are followed.  __ Maintain cleanliness and organization in service areas, making sure standards are met.
