Role Purpose The Trainer will support the Training Manager in the design, development, and delivery of training programs for the Trade Compliance Team. This role is responsible for ensuring that compliance training and onboarding programs are effectively executed for Trade Compliance employees across the three Trade Compliance Centers. The Training Analyst will play a critical role in assessing training needs, developing training materials, and evaluating the effectiveness of training initiatives to enhance team capabilities and compliance awareness. Key Responsibilities Training Delivery: Ensure the effective facilitation of training sessions and workshops, achieving high participant engagement and satisfaction rates. Needs Assessment: Conduct thorough assessments to identify training needs and gaps within the Trade Compliance Team, contributing to targeted training initiatives. Program Evaluation: Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through participant feedback and performance metrics, ensuring continuous improvement in training quality. Material Development: Collaborate with the Training Manager to develop and maintain up-to-date training materials that reflect current trade compliance regulations and best practices. Record Keeping: Maintain accurate training records and documentation to track participation, completion rates, and training outcomes. Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the Training Manager and cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of training initiatives with organizational objectives and compliance requirements. Continuous Learning Promotion: Foster a culture of continuous learning and compliance awareness within the Trade Compliance Team, encouraging team members to engage in training opportunities. Logistical Coordination: Support the logistical aspects of training sessions, including scheduling, materials preparation, and communication with participants. Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about changes in trade compliance regulations and industry trends to ensure training content remains relevant and effective. Cross-Functional Support: Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives as needed to support broader organizational goals and enhance training effectiveness. Stakeholders Trade Compliance centers management, Regional and Global Head of Customs, Global Export Control Steering Group, Global Head of Export Control. Management Responsibility The Trainer will assist the Training Manager in leading the training team, monitoring performance, and fostering collaboration across departments. Responsibilities include managing training resources, ensuring compliance with policies, and resolving team dynamics. The Analyst will contribute to strategic training planning, implement feedback for improvement, and coordinate training logistics. Additionally, the Analyst will provide regular updates on training progress and effectiveness, promoting a culture of continuous learning within the Trade Compliance Team. Skills, Qualifications & Experience Absolutely Essential Strong knowledge of Trade Compliance screening processes . 3–5 years of experience in training and development. A clear passion and vision for training, development, and transformation . Fluent written and spoken English (non‑negotiable). Experience & Skills Bachelor’s degree in Education, HR, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred). Solid understanding of compliance training in a global environment . Proven ability to design and deliver effective training for diverse audiences. Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Strong organizational and project management capabilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced, international setting. Experience with training evaluation and learning measurement techniques. Advanced PC skills, particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and Access . Willingness to travel to support regional training initiatives.
