DBFlow it’s a new platform aiming at simplifying business processes interactions and automation by using modern technologies specific to this domain. The core of the platform is managing all platform business processes and provides core functionalities, libraries, indexing, data enhancement and user interaction to onboarded use cases. The goal is to have high availability and high-performance platform infrastructure with focus on fast business adoption with low downtimes. Core technologies are Java, Camunda, Spring, Hibernate and Elasticsearch deployed on OpenShift/Kubernetes environments and automated by E2E CI/CD pipelines. The QA Automation Engineer is responsible for managing or performing work across multiple areas of the bank's overall Workflow platform including analysis, development, and administration. Work includes plan and develop engineering solutions to accomplish business goals, build reliability and resiliency into solutions with appropriate testing and reviewing throughout the delivery lifecycle, ensure maintainability and reusability of engineering. Responsibilities Ability to plan and implement the full set of test automation activities: create, maintain, and execute automated tests, extend the existing frameworks. Perform load and performance testing. Provide input to the project plan/release plan, defect/change management processes, systems integration, testing tools and processes. Gather of testing requirements and syncing between IT and Business teams. Assist IT application team in achieving quality product by identifying defects and deficiencies. Identify areas of weakness to existing procedures, continually implement new procedures, and assess risk of impact from changes to projects. Perform manual testing when required by the application or time constraints. Skills Automation framework tools: Selenium, Cucumber, BDD, Serenity, Rest Assured, CI/CD solutions or similar. Proficient coding skills with Java (nice to have: Design Patterns, Spring, SpringBoot) Excellent skills of backend testing (e.g. API Testing, Postman). Ability to perform load and performance testing (e.g. with JMeter). Excellent skills in test planning, designing, and test strategy/case/script creation and execution. Experience with integration & regressions testing and coordination with supporting systems.
