Job Description: DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. The goal of TDI Engineering Platforms and Practices is to enable the enterprise governance for the development process within Deutsche Bank. We will put an engineering mindset at the forefront of the decision-making process and will establish and embed the engineering best practice across the IT teams. You will be joining this group as an Enablement Engineer (Developer/Coach specializing in Software Development and DevOps) working directly with the Head of Engineering Enablement to define and promote engineering practices across the organization. You will be responsible for defining and supporting strategies including training, internal standards and tooling as well as developing software (full stack) within client application teams supporting their business needs. Responsibilities Understanding the divisional practices and recommending modern software engineering techniques Developing supporting materials (software, training materials, workshops) to guide adoption and measurement (KPIs) Providing hands-on coaching to support teams in the Enabling Team model (Team Topologies) Delivering business value directly within varied teams (agile engineering and DevOps) Working with the Head of Engineering Enablement to define engineering culture and practice Skills Experienced polyglot developer (we use Java/React/Kotlin mostly) Extensive and broad expertise in modern software engineering techniques including practices like XP and automated testing (TDD / ATDD) and ways of working like DevOps, agile and lean Proven communication and influencing skills (coaching / mentoring experience is a plus) Passion and drive to act as a change agent and effect transformation Cloud experience with GCP and OpenShift is a plus Exposure to Google’s DORA, SPACE, DevEx and similar frameworks is a plus Working within a global team, English is a must.
