Job Description: DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. We oversee a high-frequency, low-latency Order and Execution Management system, supporting Private Bank business lines across multiple regions. Responsibilities: A creative approach towards solving technical problems fast, as part of an L3 Rota: intra-day and on-call; Desire and ability to learn, debug and investigate across complex system landscape; Strong analytical skills; Demonstrable leading contributions in SW Development; In-depth understanding of SDLC; Ability to work with modern frameworks and tools, ability to analyse and learn; Understanding of asynchronous communication patterns and event-driven architecture; Knowledge of TeamCity/Jenkins, Maven, Gradle, GIT, GCP, Kubernetes; SQL, Bash, Linux basic knowledge; Design Patterns; Architecture Patterns; Excellent communication skills in English. Nice to have: Experience in Capital Markets, preferably Trading systems; Message brokers: JMS/Kafka/RabbitMq/IBMMQ/Solace; Experience with supporting live critical systems; FIX Protocol. Skills: Thinking: Employ a range of strategies to gather relevant information across a broad range of sources validating credibility as a matter of course as a basis to create solutions. Use different diagnostic concepts to build a rounded understanding of situations from more than one perspective and evaluates multiple solutions concurrently, impartially assessing them against a range of engineering, business and strategic criteria. Focus on iteratively increasing the flow of business value across the complete value stream. Use commercial factors and engage with the business to ensure engineering solutions are delivering significant long-term value. Enable experimentation and fast learning. Designing: Take a lead in the design process, designing more complex solutions autonomously, considering architectural aspects, end user and non-functional requirements. Increasingly provide design support to other team members and drive design tools and techniques across the team. Delivering: Provide leadership and guidance for delivery across their organization. Be an SME in one or more technical domains and have a track record for delivery of impactful & innovative business solutions whilst displaying commercial acumen. Operating: Have strong knowledge of how to operate and improve solutions and services. Manage incidents from root cause to resolution. Feed back into engineering design and delivery to prevent recurrence of issues and reduce mean time to recovery. Seek to minimize toil by automation. Controlling: Have extensive knowledge of security, risk and control policies and mitigating solutions/design patterns and use this knowledge to design solutions and services with security controls embedded, specifically engineered as mitigation against threats.
