Job Description: DB Global Technology is Deutsche Bank’s technology centre in Central and Eastern Europe. Regulation, Compliance & Anti-Financial Crime Tech (RCA) Our RCA team is responsible for protecting the bank from financial and reputational losses incurred by financial crimes by assessing, controlling and mitigating risks. Risk types related to Anti-Financial Crime are consolidated in a comprehensive and effective risk management framework that covers Anti-Money-Laundering, Sanctions & Embargoes, Anti-Bribery & Corruption as well as Anti-Fraud & Investigations. The position demands technical maturity in-terms of design decisions and overall vigilance of quality. You need to be an excellent developer, communicator and feel comfortable interacting with stakeholders at various levels within the client organization in an empathic and considerate way. You must have proven experience developing with the tools stack described below in a collaborative scrum of scrums environment. Experience in real time data, performance optimization and modern development, deployment and configuration tools is preferred – as is experience of financial services / banking and trading concepts. This job is well-suited to people who have problem-solving skills, work well as part of a team, and can manage their time effectively to meet deadlines and keep to projected schedules. Responsibilities: Design and implement scalable Big Data architectures using distributed systems (e.g., Spark, Hadoop, Cloudera Distribution). Develop and optimize data pipelines to ensure high performance, reliability, and data quality. Lead technical design reviews and provide mentorship to junior developers and engineers. Collaborate with Business Analysts, and Business Stakeholders to translate business needs into data solutions. Ensure best practices in data security, governance, testing, and production deployment. Skills: Must: Experience with Big Data and Hadoop Ecosystem: Dataframes, Spark SQL, PySpark, HDFS, Hive, YARN, Kerberos. Cloudera distribution. At least 5 years proven experience. Must: Advanced knowledge of Python; At least 5 years proven experience. Must: Good knowledge of working with Databases (eg. SQL, Oracle, Hive, Impala) and versed in working with different data file types. Might make a difference: Any Cloud implementation: GCP (ideal). Good knowledge of Unix/Linux environments. Experienced using Control-M Workload Automation tool. Awareness/information about DevOps practices like CI/CD. Be familiar with version control systems: GIT Hands on knowledge of Shell Scripting. Be familiar with Atlassian Stack: JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket. Exposure to reporting tools (Tableau, Looker, SAP BOBJ, etc). Good experience / exposure of working in financial industry. Have an aptitude for data mining, analytical in the approach to tasks, and have a business focus. Bachelor Degree from an accredited college or university with a concentration in Computer Science or IT-related discipline (or equivalent work experience/diploma/certification). Educational background and understand statistical modelling and can apply modelling techniques to analyse data.
