Beauty is seeking a Summer Intern, Graphic Design, Visual Merchandising to support our Visual Merchandising and Design team in creating retail displays and graphics that shoppers see in stores. This is a hands-on, learning-focused role where you’ll assist with design tasks, organize creative assets, and help move projects forward on tight timelines—gaining real exposure to retail design execution.\nResponsibilities:Assist with creating and updating store display graphics and retail layoutsHelp organize design files, maintain archives, and keep project documentation tidyLearn how to read basic retail plans, including planograms, dielines, and product layoutsSupport simple production tasks such as trimming, cutting, comping, and mockupsCommunicate with team members to track progress and meet deadlinesWork both independently and collaboratively to complete assigned tasksRequirements:Must be a rising junior or senior at the time of the internshipMust be available for the full internship period: June 1st - August 28thAvailable for in-office work at least three days per weekBasic knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop) and AcrobatFamiliarity with Microsoft Office, especially for tracking and communicationStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsEffective time management with the ability to juggle multiple tasks and deadlinesClear communication skills and a collaborative, team-first mindsetPreferred Skills (Not Required):SketchUp or basic 3D experiencePrevious exposure to retail design, beauty, fashion, or wellnessExperience reading planograms or working with store layoutsA small portfolio showcasing retail, environmental, or graphic design workBusiness RationaleAs the International Visual Merchandising team manages multiple projects on tight timelines, additional support is critical. The e.l.f.tern will help keep projects organized by setting up files and folders, working on presentation decks, and creating PDF-ready files for internal review. They will also assist with preparing production-ready artwork, printing, cutting, and mocking up graphics for retail displays. Toward the end of the internship, the intern will help create and update graphics and planograms for international retail partners.\n$20 - $20 an hour\n
