This role is highly hands-on and fast-moving, focused on conversation, connection, and cultural awareness—helping e.l.f. show up authentically across key social channels while driving meaningful community engagement.\nResponsibilities:Support communications across e.l.f.’s social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X (Twitter), Pinterest, and SnapchatActively engage with the community by liking, commenting, and responding to messages and mentionsTake a rapid-response approach to audience engagement, remaining agile and open to real-time community needsPartner with Customer Service to support questions related to product orders and promotionsCoordinate fan outreach and product seeding out of the Los Angeles e.l.f. officesIdentify new content opportunities, trends, and conversation starters across social platformsPull weekly and monthly community insights and performance metrics for cross-functional reportingShare weekly updates on trending conversations, feedback, and recurring questions or complaints across brand and competitor channelsSupport routine community workflows while remaining flexible and adaptable to emerging needsRequirements:Must be available for the full internship period: June 1st - August 28thMust be able to work at least 18 hours per weekMust be based in the Los Angeles area with availability to be in-office 2–3 days per weekCurrently attending a two- or four-year university and pursuing a degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Communications, or a related fieldCurrently a sophomore or junior in collegeStrong interest in social media marketing and community engagementExcellent written communication skills, including copywriting, editing, and proofreadingStrong understanding of TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, X (Twitter), LinkedIn, Pinterest, and emerging social platformsStrong multitasking and time-management skillsPassion for beauty and digital cultureBusiness Rationale:The Community e.l.f.tern will play an active role in supporting community management across fan and creator-generated content, helping the brand stay responsive, culturally relevant, and deeply connected to its audience.
