Global Impact: Join a company where your work has a global, measurable impact on our clients, the business, and each other. Learn more on Life at Coupa blog and hear from our employees about their experiences working at Coupa. The Impact of Senior Lead Site Reliability Engineer at Coupa\nWhat You'll Do:Own, build and run a suite of impactful platforms built on modern cloud technologies that provide a suite of functionality delivering APIs, integrations, security, messaging, streaming, identity, performance, reliability & containers.Build a multi-region and multi-cloud supported services that allows scalable, secure service delivery across hundreds of services on AWS & Azure clouds in a regulated environment.Participate in architectural planning, code reviews, and operational design to ensure high-quality, scalable solutionsAct as a hands-on contributor, designing, developing, maintaining, and scaling Coupa’s platform systems and servicesSupport the effort to containerize a suite of applications to reduce cost and improve efficiency.Develop and drive long-term strategies and roadmaps aligning with business priorities in partnership with the Dev and product Management team.Help us in improving the reliability and scalability of the hosted products.Takes full ownership of products and has a track record of sustainably delivering high quality features & managing technical debt.At Coupa we also practice a culture of sharing, you will have various opportunities to share your ideas and hear from other teams how they solve their technical challenges. We are thrilled with the idea that we will be able to see your ideas become reality in our products and processes.What You'll Bring To Coupa:Bachelor's Degree with 15+ years of professional experience handling large scale production systems..Experience with AWS or comparable cloud providers with certification.Experience in designing of new services on AWS or comparable cloud provider, migration of services to cloud and deployment of new services on AWS or comparable cloud provider.Hands on experience with Ruby, Terraform and configuration management tools like Chef, Ansible or equivalent.Experience in application support/development on RubyHas experience in containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, EKS, AKS, ECS)Has experience building & running modern full-stack cloud applications using public cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, GCP) reliably and at scale.Experience in observability tools like NewRelic, Datadog etcExpertise in problem solving and analyzing global scale distributed systems.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Critical thinking, continuously challenging how and why we do things to help us improve\n#LI-ML1#LI-RemoteCoupa complies with relevant laws and regulations regarding equal opportunity and offers a welcoming and inclusive work environment.
