We are currently looking for a Controller in United States.This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead and shape the financial operations of a fast-growing, fully remote organization. The Controller will be responsible for ensuring accurate and GAAP-compliant financial reporting, managing day-to-day accounting functions, and overseeing the consolidation of multiple subsidiaries. This position combines strategic oversight with hands-on execution, including managing an offshore bookkeeping team and optimizing financial processes. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, leverages modern accounting technology, and partners cross-functionally to provide actionable financial insights. Success in this role directly impacts organizational performance and sets the foundation for scalable growth and long-term financial health.\nAccountabilities:Oversee and execute a high-quality monthly close within five business days, ensuring GAAP complianceManage daily accounting operations and maintain the integrity of financial data and internal controlsLead consolidation efforts for multiple subsidiaries and coordinate with external auditorsSupervise, mentor, and develop an offshore bookkeeping and billing teamDesign and maintain the Chart of Accounts and financial reporting structures to support scalabilityConduct monthly budget variance analysis in collaboration with cross-functional leadersBuild and maintain KPI dashboards to track company performance and financial healthManage revenue and accounts receivable aging processes, ensuring timely collectionsRespond to cross-functional reporting requests and contribute to process improvement initiativesRequirements:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or other relevant certifications preferred5–7 years of hands-on finance and accounting experience, including consolidation3–5 years of leadership or managerial experience, including managing direct reports or external vendors/offshore teamsExpert-level proficiency with QuickBooks Online (QBO), Excel, Google Sheets, and accounting/close management softwareStrong analytical skills and the ability to investigate variances beyond the numbersExcellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience collaborating across remote teamsAbility to work independently and thrive in a fast-paced, remote-first environmentPreferred Qualifications:Experience optimizing accounting technology and automating financial processes and dashboardsBackground in a digital marketing agency or professional services environmentBenefits:Competitive salary ($100,000 - $120,000 per year)Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insuranceRetirement plan optionsRemote-first work environment with flexibilityProfessional development and growth opportunitiesCollaborative, supportive, and inclusive culture\nWhy Apply Through Jobgether?We use an AI-powered matching process to ensure your application is reviewed quickly, objectively, and fairly against the role's core requirements.
