We are currently looking for a Senior Backend Engineer in South Africa.This role offers the opportunity to lead the development and optimization of backend systems for a cutting-edge Web3 platform, powering multi-chain DeFi solutions for financial institutions and fintechs. You will design, build, and maintain scalable, robust, and secure backend architecture, ensuring high performance across a complex blockchain ecosystem. Collaborating closely with product, frontend, and design teams, you will influence the technical direction and quality of the platform. The position allows you to implement best practices, mentor junior engineers, and contribute to the evolution of cloud-native, containerized infrastructure.
