We are currently looking for a Data Platform Reliability Engineer - Postgres in Nigeria.In this role, you will own the reliability, performance, and operational excellence of a high-scale Postgres database platform. You will manage both platform-level and customer-facing databases, ensuring smooth upgrades, optimal performance, and high availability across cloud environments. Collaborating closely with platform engineers, SREs, and product teams, you will design and implement monitoring, automation, and optimization strategies that proactively prevent issues and streamline operations. This position offers a fully remote environment with opportunities to influence platform architecture, mentor team members, and shape best practices for database reliability.
