The role:We’re looking for a Platform Engineer to join Curri’s Engineering organization. This role is responsible for building and maintaining the internal platform that enables Curri’s engineering teams to ship reliable software quickly and safely. This is a hands-on, infrastructure-focused role owning CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes, and developer tooling across the company. This is a platform-based role ideal for an engineer who enjoys working across systems, improving developer experience, and building scalable foundations that empower product teams to move faster with confidence.\nWhat you will do:Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation using RWX, focusing on reliability, speed, and cost efficiency.Manage and evolve AWS infrastructure (Aurora, ElastiCache, VPC, IAM, EC2, Secrets Manager) using Infrastructure as Code with Pulumi.Operate, debug, and scale Kubernetes workloads in production environments.Improve developer experience by reducing build times, enhancing tooling, and creating self-service capabilities for engineering teams.Support and optimize the TypeScript monorepo build infrastructure and related tooling.Collaborate closely with product engineers on debugging, system design, and performance optimization.Participate in the on-call rotation (Tuesday-to-Tuesday) and support incident response without burnout-driven expectations.What you need to have: Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, including deploying, debugging, and scaling workloads, and understanding networking and resource management.Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools such as Terraform or Pulumi.Deep familiarity with AWS services including VPC, RDS/Aurora, ElastiCache, IAM, EC2, and Secrets Manager.Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines with a strong understanding of caching strategies, build optimization, and deployment patterns.Proven ability to debug and troubleshoot production systems by tracing issues across services and logs.Bonus points: Experience working with monorepo tooling such as Rush, Nx, Turborepo, or Bazel.Contributions to open-source infrastructure or developer tooling projects.Experience building internal developer platforms or self-service tooling.Hands-on experience with PostgreSQL performance tuning and database migrations.What's in it for you: A high-impact role on a small infrastructure team where your work directly enables the entire engineering organization.Ownership over real problems end-to-end, with autonomy to make architectural decisions.A modern technology stack including Pulumi, AWS, Kubernetes, RWX, TypeScript, and Go.Competitive salary, equity, and benefits including health, dental, vision, and 401(k).\n$140,000 - $160,000 a year\nWho are we?We are Curri and our mission is to be the way the world delivers construction and industrial supplies.
