Our team is designing a flight critical, custom avionics system to support communications, compute, AI, power, telemetry, and all other needed aircraft systems. A Senior Electrical Engineer will be given ownership over part of the flight critical system design and work with all cross-functional teams to execute.\nWhat you'll do: Circuit and sub-system design for X-BAT and its support equipment. This includes cradle to grave ownership of architecture, design, analysis, schematic capture, layout, verification, qualification, integration, and manufacturingWork with mixed signal systems that include high-speed digital, FPGA, compute, analog, power regulation, EMI/EMC, RF, etc.Execute test and qualification campaigns. Including environmental test for vibration, altitude, radiation, thermal, humidity, etc.Lead system integration of your design. Including troubleshooting and root cause analysisLead and mentor teammatesWork closely with cross-functional teams (mechanical, embedded, software, manufacturing, thermal, supplier development, reliability, supply chain, etc.)Help automate manufacturing test solutions for volume productionRequired qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering; or equivalentA minimum of 3+ years of experience as an Electrical EngineerStrong technical fundamentalsContributed to and led multiple product design cycles involving EE, ME, and SW engineeringFamiliar with CAD software such as Altium or equivalentFamiliar with a PLM system such as Arena or equivalentDemonstrated track record of extreme ownership, working hard, and delivering outstanding outcomes\n$115,527 - $173,291 a year\n#LI-JM2#LCFull-time regular employee offer package: Pay within range listed + Bonus + Benefits + Equity Temporary employee offer package: Pay within range listed above + temporary benefits package (applicable after 60 days of employment)Salary compensation is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, licenses and certifications, and specific work location.
