Our Product Design team brings together Product Designers who, beyond their product scope, actively contribute to maintaining and evolving our Design System across platforms.To scale the quality, consistency, and efficiency of our platform experience, we are hiring a Design System Manager who will own the functional and technical scope of the Design System. This role works closely with Product squads, partnering with designers on component design and with engineers on implementation and migration. It is a highly collaborative and coordination-driven position, ensuring alignment across Product and Engineering while turning design intent into an industrialized, scalable, and continuously improving system, aligned with Product and Engineering.“At the intersection of design, engineering, and automation, this role makes high-quality product experiences scalable by default.”  — Claire Gautier, Head of Design linkedin.com/in/clairegautier\nWithin 1 month, you will:Complete onboarding and understand the product, design principles, and Convexity modelAudit the current Design System (components, tokens, tooling, adoption, migrations)Identify where the Design System creates or blocks product impact todayMap stakeholders, ownership, and decision paths across Design, Product, and EngineeringWithin 3 months, you will:Own a clear, prioritized Design System roadmap driven by product impact and engineering constraintsRun an operational delivery flow for components and tokens (design → implementation)Define prioritization criteria (product roadmap, usage in prod, technical constraints)Define and track baseline Design System KPIs (adoption, usage, migration progress, contributions)Set up working rituals to prepare roadmap ownershipWithin 6 months, you will:Show a measurable increase in Design System adoption in priority product areasOperate a clear governance model with ownership, contribution rules, and rituals in useRun documentation and audit processes for core componentsHave first AI-assisted workflows live reducing manual Design System workWithin 12 months, you will:Demonstrate sustained product impact from the Design System (speed, consistency, quality)Scale automation and AI-assisted workflows across platformsMake Design System prioritization, adoption, and governance fully embedded in Product and Engineering ways of workingThe Skill Set:6+ years of experience working on or closely with Design Systems in a product environmentAbility to define and own a long-term Design System direction, with a focus on scalability and sustainabilityExperience evolving fragmented or partially adopted systems into reliable, widely used platformsHands-on experience with design tokens, multi-platform components, and Figma libraries at scaleFamiliarity with automation workflows (token pipelines, documentation, component lifecycle tooling)Interest or experience in using AI-assisted tools for documentation, audits, accessibility, or design-to-code workflowsGood understanding of component-based development (e.g. React, SwiftUI, Jetpack Compose) and Git-based collaborationExperience collaborating closely with Engineering to navigate trade-offs and support high-quality implementationWorking knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG and/or RGAA) and how to apply them in systemsFluent English (US/UK) / B2 level or equivalent (FR)Enthusiasm for our working environment explained here:  https://bit.ly/Convexity_360LWhat we offer:Compensation: Package includes base salary, a variable component and equity ????Benefits/Perks: Work From Home stipend, RTT, lunch vouchers, medical insurance, gym subscription, 1 month parental leave for the second parent. Balance: Flexible hours, full remote work possible anywhere in France ????Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion: We have 6 active ERGs including Mental Health, Environmental/Sustainability, Women, Parents, LGBTQIA2S+, and Ethnic Diversity.
