You’ve spent 7+ years designing SaaS products, and you’re now ready to shape not just great interfaces—but great design culture. As a design leader, you’ll mentor other designers, partner deeply with PMs and engineers, and play a central role in defining our design direction. You’llconnect high-level strategy to detailed execution and use both qualitative and quantitative insights to make confident design decisions.Experience with AI-powered design tooling is mandatory. Applications without a folio will not be considered.What We’re Looking For- 7+ years of relevant design experience, with 2+ years in a leadership or mentorship capacity- Proven record of delivering elegant, data-informed experiences across the full design lifecycle—research, IA, interaction design, visual design, prototyping, and testing- Deep fluency in design systems, accessibility, and scalable design patterns- Strong visual and interaction design craft—you care about hierarchy, layout, motion, and usability as much as strategy- Experience designing for AI-driven or intelligent interfaces, including collaboration with ML and data teams- Track record of influencing design direction at a system or platform level, not just at feature level- Natural mentor—comfortable coaching Senior and Junior designers while promoting shared standards of excellence- Strong facilitation skills: workshops, design critiques, and decision frameworks- A portfolio that demonstrates systematic thinking and measurable product impact- Excellent communication—able to simplify complex ideas for different audiences and advocate for design-led solutions- Familiarity with front-end implementation constraints; ability to work closely with engineers to ship quality- Committed to inclusive, accessible, and scalable design- Passionate about improving team operations—processes, tools, and documentationIn This Role, You Will- Lead design strategy and execution for one or more product pillars - Drive design quality reviews and own standards for usability, accessibility, and design consistency Mentor and grow the design team; provide thoughtful feedback and career guidance Partner with PMs and Engineering to translate business goals into design roadmaps- Influence the product vision through storytelling, data synthesis, and user empathy- Contribute to and evolve our design system, ensuring cohesive experiences across surfaces and devices- Define metrics for design quality and impact (usability scores, accessibility compliance, NPS, etc.)- Create alignment between design and cross-functional teams through documentation, office hours, and design critiques- Stay current on design trends, emerging tools, and industry best practices—bringing back actionable insights to the teamMust-Have Qualities- Comfortable moving between strategy and hands-on design Skilled at balancing speed, detail, and scalability in design execution- Strong storytelling and presentation skills—can persuade through clarity and evidence- Deep curiosity about users, data, and design systems- Empathy-driven leader who helps others grow and succeed- Advocate for accessibility, inclusion, and ethical design- Positive energy—able to energize teams and maintain momentum in ambiguity\n\nEqual Employment Opportunity InformationThe company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
