We bring deep expertise across lending sub-sectors to understand market structure, core customer needs, and the most effective channels to reach each segment. By combining strong technical execution with market insight, we aim to grow overall adoption of cash flow data and meaningfully expand its role in modern credit decisioning.\nResponsibilitiesYou will lead a team of 7 engineers, ranging from mid-level to Staff, developing them through clear goal setting, coaching, and feedback.You’ll collaborate with cross-functional partners to identify high-leverage opportunities, shape the roadmap, and dive deep into technical design and execution details to ensure consistent delivery of high-impact business outcomes.You’ll uphold a high bar for technical quality and delivery velocity, leading by example.Qualifications8+ years of industry experience, that includes time as a Staff-level engineer before transitioning into management.1+ years of engineering management experience Deep experience designing scalable, reliable architectures that support real-world products at scale.Track record of building and growing high performing engineering teams (either as an engineer or a manager).Prior experience working on Partnerships. Bonus points if you have prior Fintech and/or Credit experience \n$214,800 - $366,000 a yearTarget base salary for this role is between $214,800 and $366,000 per year. Additional compensation in the form of equity and/or commission is dependent on the position offered. Plaid provides a comprehensive benefit plan, including medical, dental, vision, and 401(k).
