We are looking for a MEP Tender Engineer to strengthen a central tendering and estimating team involved in complex building and infrastructure projects in Belgium. In this role, you will contribute to the technical and financial preparation of tenders, with a strong focus on MEP installations and coordination within multidisciplinary project teams.You will be involved from early analysis through to final submission, helping shape competitive, technically sound, and well-coordinated tender proposals.\nYour ContributionParticipate in the technical study and coordination of all MEP-related aspects during the tender phase.Analyse specifications, drawings, schematics, and contractual documents related to MEP installations.Translate client and project requirements into clear technical and commercial action plans.Request, analyse, and compare price offers from suppliers and subcontractors.Prepare cost estimates based on execution methods, selected equipment, internal databases, and received quotations.Establish comparative tables and contribute to internal tender review and finalisation meetings.Analyse subcontractor offers and assess technical compliance, risks, and opportunities.Propose value engineering solutions and technical alternatives for MEP systems.Ensure coordination between MEP trades and other disciplines within the general contractor’s scope.Coordinate with MEP design offices, subcontractors, and external stakeholders during the tender process.Participate in meetings with subcontractors and design teams when required.Prepare and support the final tender documentation for submission.Your ProfileBachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electromechanical Engineering.Minimum 5 years of experience as a MEP Tender Engineer, preferably with a focus on HVAC.Strong technical understanding of MEP systems and construction methodologies.Experience working on complex tenders within a multidisciplinary environment.Able to manage tenders independently with a strong sense of ownership and responsibility.Analytical, structured, and comfortable working under deadlines.Proactive, solution-oriented, and continuously looking for improvements and innovations.Strong communication skills and team spirit.Fluent in French, Dutch, and English (spoken and written).Based in, or willing to work in, the Brussels region (hybrid working possible).What We OfferA key role within a central tendering team working on high-impact construction projects.Exposure to technically complex and multidisciplinary tenders.A collaborative and professional working environment with room for initiative and innovation.Flexible working arrangements combining office presence and remote work.A competitive salary package with benefits, aligned with experience and responsibility.\nAbout Cabo Norte ProfessionalsCabo Norte Professionals is a team of highly driven recruitment experts based in Belgium with 20 years of in-house recruitment expertise in Belgium, Luxembourg, The Netherlands, France, Europe, the Middle East, Africa and Australia.It’s our talent to find yours!
