Candidate will be required to prepare strategic estate plans and illustrations of the plan that can be presented to the client and client’s attorney. This position will involve working closely with Aprio tax partners and associates to manage the estate planning process and client deliverables.\nPosition Responsibilities:Provide exceptional client serviceDevelop and implement strategies to reduce clients’ estate tax exposureListen to clients and assist them in designing estate plan that captures their intentionsPrepare or review estate and trust income tax returns, gift and estate tax returnsWork closely with clients to provide tax planning, consulting and compliance servicesManage, develop, train, and mentor staffWork with partners on delivering innovative tax planning strategiesQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related specialtyMasters degree in Taxation or JD, requiredAttorney candidates preferably licensed in state of NY, but others will be considered. Candidate can work remotely.5+ years of recent experience working in a public accounting firm, law firm, or financial services firm.Experience in 1041s, 709s, 706s and summarizing complex trust and estate documentsExceptional verbal and written communication skillsComputer expertise including knowledge of tax software and technology\n$98,500 - $160,000 a yearThe salary range for this opportunity is stated above.
