[solidcore] is seeking a Staff Accountant to join our growing HQ Accounting Team. The ideal candidate is an accounting professional with a strong foundation in GAAP, excellent attention to detail, and a collaborative, team-oriented mindset. This individual is highly motivated, eager to learn, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role will support core accounting operations including accounts payable, accounts receivable, revenue reporting, and month-end close activities.Located in Arlington, Virginia, this position offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience within a rapidly expanding, investor-backed fitness brand.\nResponsibilities:Organize, process, and code weekly invoices, including preparing and executing vendor paymentsMaintain strong communication and positive working relationships with [solidcore] vendorsSupport revenue reportingPerform AR and AP reconciliationsPerform bank reconciliationsAssist with month-end close processes, including preparation of journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedulesAssist with ad hoc accounting projects and process improvements as neededEnsure compliance with GAAP, internal controls, and company accounting policiesRespond to requests from external auditorsQualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field2-3 years of accounting experienceStrong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)Proficiency in Microsoft ExcelStrong written and verbal communication skillsExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skillsPossess a high level of attention to detailAbility to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environmentMust be local to the Arlington/DMV areaPreferred Qualifications:Multi-location retail, or membership-based business experience NetSuite or similar accounting ERP software experienceCPA or CPA candidateCompensation and Benefits:Competitive salary, based on experienceBonus eligibility based on performanceMonthly cell phone stipend401k with employer matchHealth, dental, & vision insuranceFlexible PTOFree drop in classes at [solidcore]And MORE\n[solidcore] is a national boutique fitness company with 100+ studios across the country.
