We’re seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Director, Corporate FP&A, to help drive the company’s operational and financial performance in a fast-paced, scaling biotech environment.This role will lead core FP&A processes, including annual planning, forecasting, and monthly performance reviews, and serve as a trusted partner to functional leaders across Manufacturing, R&D, Commercial, and G&A. The Director will deliver actionable insights to support decision-making in a capital-intensive, project-driven business. The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, hands-on environment, brings a strong analytical mindset, and can translate complex data into clear, actionable recommendations for leadership.\nResponsibilitiesLead corporate financial planning processes, including annual operating plan, quarterly forecasts, and monthly budget-to-actual analysisPartner with department leaders to align headcount, operating expenses, and capital investments with company milestonesBuild and maintain financial models for cash flow forecasting, scenario planning, and long-range planningProvide analysis to evaluate manufacturing cost structures, R&D investment priorities, and commercial launch economicsPrepare monthly and quarterly management reports with performance commentary for leadershipCollaborate with Accounting to ensure accurate month-end close and reportingSupport the preparation of Board and investor materials, including financial updates and KPI'sIdentify opportunities to improve forecasting accuracy, process efficiency, and data integrityRequirementsBachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field10+ years of relevant demonstrated financial and leadership experience, preferably in biotech, pharma, life sciences, or manufacturingExtensive experience with SAP or other relevant ERP solutionsExperience with analysis tools and databases such as Power Query, Python, SQL, Power BI, Snowflake, and TableauHighly organized with a meticulous attention to detail and the willingness to be in a hands-on positionDeep understanding of industry financialsProven track record of financial leadership in a fast-paced, dynamic environmentStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to synthesize complex information into clear recommendationsExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with both internal teams and external partners\n$170,000 - $240,000 a yearCellares’ total compensation package contains competitive base salaries, highly subsidized Medical, Dental, and Vision Plans, 401(k) Matching, Free EV Charging, Onsite lunches, and Stock options.
