The Federal Sales Account Executive will handle the transition from business opportunity to proposal development to award. The Federal Sales Account Executive will manage activities from identification to award that will enable the growth of sales across the public sector and will strive to exceed monthly, quarterly and yearly sales targets. The Federal Sales Account Executive will execute business development activities within the federal government and the DoD by identifying, cultivating and maturing relationships with the necessary channels that could assist in selling Smarsh products. The core responsibility of the Account Executive will be to drive new revenue growth of Smarsh.  \nHow will you contribute?Identify potential opportunities, arrange meetings, initiating sales momentum, build proposals, and closing salesIdentify, establish and build relationships with organizations that will assist in the sales of Smarsh productsRefine and progress the capture plan strategiesAttend Business Development meetings (kickoff, status, approval etc.)Work alongside executive leadership to identify, refine, and execute our DOD and Federal growth strategiesAchieve yearly sales targets and build opportunity pipelines for out yearsDevelop and execute effective business development/sales call plans for meetings with target agencies and program managersDevelop industry relationships and represent our company at industry eventsDevelop and maintain positive working relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, including other business development and capture team members, client executives, proposal managers, and program management teams to ensure effective, efficient, and integrated implementation of capture strategiesMeet or exceed established performance goals in support of overall corporate growth and new business sales successWhat will you bring?Prior successful track record meeting sales quotas and acquiring new logosKnowledge and understanding of federal sales cycle & procurement processesProven track record selling as an individual, growing revenue, developing and selling solutions, and executing strategic campaigns within the federal public sector.Experience with software, IT, Mobile sales is preferredExperience establishing and growing relationships via software channelExperience building and maintaining high-level relationships and demonstrated ability to prospect and close new customersBA/BS degree is preferred\n$140,000 - $160,000 a yearThe above base salary range represents Smarsh's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of possible base compensation at the time of posting. Any applicable bonus programs will be discussed during the recruiting process. The salary for this role will be set based on a variety of factors, including but not limited to, internal equity, experience, education, location, specialty and training.
