Saronic Technologies is a leader in revolutionizing autonomy at sea, dedicated to developing state-of-the-art solutions that enhance maritime operations through autonomous and intelligent platforms.As a Hull & Deck Infusion – Composites Technician, you will be responsible for infusing high-performance composite parts used in the structure and systems of our autonomous vessels. You will focus on large molds: loading dry material & stringers, installing vacuum manifolds, bagging, drop tests, leak detection, maintaining vacuum catch pots, mixing resin and MEKP to appropriate ratios, and other infusion techniques. This hands-on role is critical to our manufacturing process and directly impacts product reliability and performance. \nKey Responsibilities: Attention to detail and commitment to industry-leading standards  Prepare molds and tooling for composite layup and infusion Perform precise hand layups using dry fiber materials Set up and execute vacuum-assisted resin infusion processes Mix and handle resins, hardeners, and other composite materials in accordance with safety protocols Ensure each fiberglass layer is installed to prevent bridging, wrinkling, and resin richness Install core with minimal gaps  Maintain a clean, organized, and safety-compliant workspace Interpret technical drawings, layup schedules, and process documentation using a tablet Collaborate closely with engineering and quality teams to iterate on part design and manufacturability Document work performed and identify process improvements or quality issues Work with a sense of urgency Mix putty, debur surfaces to prep for dry loading fiberglass and duties as assigned Requirements: 2+ years of hands-on experience with composites manufacturing, particularly resin infusion at a high rate boat building factory Strong attention to detail, manual dexterity, and a quality-first mindset Experience with vacuum bagging hull and decks Ability to work with minimal supervision in a fast-paced, iterative environment Familiarity with vinyl ester and polyester resins, carbon fiber, dry fiberglass Comfortable using trimming tools, grinders, and measurement instruments Able to read technical drawings and follow standard operating procedures U.S. Person (citizen or permanent resident) required due to DoD contract work Preferred Qualifications: Ability to use a MVP Hight Output System Experience with marine composite fabrication Familiarity with AS9100 or ISO 9001 quality systems Forklift or crane certification a plus \nBenefits:Medical Insurance: Comprehensive health insurance plans covering a range of servicesSaronic pays 100% of the premium for employees and 80% for dependentsDental and Vision Insurance: Coverage for routine dental check-ups, orthodontics, and vision careSaronic pays 100% of the premium under the basic plan for employees and 80% for dependentsTime Off: Generous PTO and HolidaysParental Leave: Paid maternity and paternity leave to support new parentsCompetitive Salary: Industry-standard salaries with opportunities for performance-based bonusesRetirement Plan: 401(k) plan with company matchStock Options: Equity options to give employees a stake in the company’s successLife and Disability Insurance: Basic life insurance and short- and long-term disability coveragePet Insurance: Discounted pet insurance options including 24/7 Telehealth helplineAdditional Perks: Free lunch benefit and unlimited free drinks and snacks in the officeThis role requires access to export-controlled information or items that require “U.S. Person” status.
