For more information, visit xsolla.com.\nResponsibilities:Provide expert legal advice and guidance on a broad range of corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters, including fintech, crypto, and securitiesDraft, review, and negotiate complex contracts, including partnership, licensing, employment, and vendor agreementsAdvise on compliance with US and international laws relevant to the gaming, finance, and technology sectorsSupport mergers, acquisitions, and other strategic transactionsAdvise on digital asset offerings, token structures, and blockchain-based products, including analysis of securities law implications under federal and state regulationsMonitor and interpret SEC, CFTC, FinCEN, and state regulatory developments affecting digital assets and payment systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate legal risksDevelop and implement policies, procedures, and training to ensure ongoing complianceRepresent Xsolla in legal proceedings, regulatory inquiries, and negotiations as neededMonitor changes in relevant legislation and assess impact on business operationsMentor and provide guidance to junior legal team membersQualifications & Skills:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school; active membership in good standing with the California State BarMinimum 7 years of relevant legal experience, preferably in-house at a technology or gaming company, or at a top law firmLitigation experience is strongly preferredDeep knowledge of corporate, commercial, and regulatory lawSubstantive experience advising on securities law matters, including SEC regulations, private placements, and investment company considerationsDemonstrated expertise in fintech, payment processing, cryptocurrency and digital asset legal frameworksExperience negotiating and drafting complex commercial agreementsStrong business acumen and ability to balance legal risk with business objectivesExcellent written and verbal communication skillsDemonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and work independentlyHigh ethical standards and sound judgmentExperience with international legal matters and data privacy is a plusFamiliarity with AML/KYC requirements and sanctions compliance preferredStrong understanding of Google Suite and Atlassian tools preferred\n$147,800 - $232,700 a year\nBenefits: We are passionate about fostering a supportive environment for our team, so we prioritize the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of our employees and their families through a comprehensive Benefits Program.
