The best candidate will be someone who thrives in a fast-paced, highly collaborative, and exceptionally dynamic setting and is excited to build scalable backend services, contribute to architectural improvements, and support high-performing production systems.Strong backend development skills in Go (or a similar language) and a solid understanding of microservices and distributed systems are essential, along with experience in working with containerized environments such as Docker and Kubernetes. The ability to analyze system behavior, troubleshoot production issues, and continuously improve service reliability and performance will be key to your success in this role.If you're passionate about developing reliable systems that power impactful products and love supporting innovative gaming, payment, or commerce experiences through scalable backend solutions, we would love to hear from you!\nResponsibilitiesDesign, build, and maintain backend services that power core products and platforms.Develop event-driven systems using Go and Kafka.Build scalable microservices in containerized environments using Docker and Kubernetes.Contribute to architecture decisions that improve performance, resiliency, and maintainability.Collaborate with engineers, product managers, designers, and QA to deliver end-to-end solutions.Own your code in production, monitor, debug, and continuously improve service performance and reliability.Write automated tests and follow CI/CD best practices to ensure high-quality deployments.Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and knowledge sharing across teams.Support on-call rotation alongside senior team members to help maintain production systems.Qualifications & Skills3+ years of backend development experience in Go or a similar language.Good understanding of microservices architecture, distributed systems, and event-based communication.Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and container orchestration (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).Understanding of observability, monitoring, and performance optimization.Ability to troubleshoot production issues and analyze system behavior.Nice to HaveBackground in gaming, payments, or commerce systems.Experience in adtech or offer monetization platforms.Hands-on experience with Kafka or equivalent streaming platforms.Experience with Redis or other in-memory data stores.Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP, or Azure).Familiarity with ClickHouse, Postgres, or other analytical/OLAP/OLTP databases.Prior experience working on internal platforms or developer-facing tools.\n$90,000 - $100,000 a year\nEqual Employment Opportunity Statement:Xsolla is an equal opportunity employer.
