We’re now the #1 Phone Plan Provider on Consumer Reports and growing fast - including our team!As a People Operations Associate, you’ll support day-to-day HR operations and work closely with our People Operations Manager, Talent, Finance, Legal, and Leadership teams. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain exposure to HR strategy, systems building, and cross-functional collaboration, while helping to deliver a seamless employee experience.\nWhat you'll do:Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, documentation, and system access.Maintain accurate employee records in HRIS, benefits systems, and internal tracking tools.Assist with benefits administration and employee inquiries.Support HR compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.Help develop and maintain employee policies, handbooks, and documentation with People Ops Manager.Screen incoming HR correspondence and escalate time-sensitive matters to People Ops Manager.Coordinate recruiting processes and help ensure a smooth candidate-to-employee transition.Assist with reporting, audits, and data hygiene for operational accuracy.Support company-wide people programs including performance cycles, engagement initiatives, learning opportunities, and recognition programs.Help organize our annual company offsite (previous locations: Tokyo, Dubai, Hawaii).Build scalable People Ops systems, templates, and workflows.Skills and Experience:1–3 years in People Operations, HR, or related operations role.Startup, tech, or high-growth experience preferred.Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field, or equivalent experience.Proficiency in Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Calendar).Familiarity with HR tools and systems (HRIS, performance management).Detail-oriented with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Experience with PEO (Justworks) and benefits administration a plus.Why You'll Love This Role:Hands-on experience across the full employee lifecycle.Direct exposure to building People Ops processes and systems.Opportunity to support high-impact cultural moments like global company offsites.Collaborative, fast-paced, hybrid work environment in New York City.Growth and professional development opportunities within a scaling organizationBenefits$100/mo USM credit for your phone / family / friends etcGym ReimbursementFlexible PTOMedical, Dental, and Vision Plans\n$70,000 - $90,000 a year\nThink you're a good fit?
