In this role, you’ll help us ensure operational excellence across our on-demand grocery network, working hands-on to improve picker performance and maintain the high service standards that define our grocery experience. Get to know our Operations team — what drives us, how we work, and what you can expect. What You’ll Be Doing You’ll be joining the Deliveroo ODG (On-Demand Grocery) team. We power ultra-fast delivery through a network of picker-operated stores, combining technology and process excellence to ensure customers get what they ordered, on time, every time. Here’s what your day-to-day might look like: Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess site performance using key metrics like rejection rates and missing items to identify and resolve accuracy issues. On-Site Training: Train and upskill pickers on Deliveroo’s standard operating procedures (SOPs), focusing on order prioritisation and customer-first execution. Root Cause Analysis: Investigate performance dips, document findings, and implement corrective actions to prevent issues like cancellations from recurring. Hardware & Tech Support: Conduct regular checks on store tablets and printers, troubleshooting hardware issues to ensure live operations never stop. Strategic Action Plans: Create site-specific improvement plans, collaborating with partner store managers to ensure stock availability and efficient order preparation. What You’ll Need to Thrive Essential Operational Experience: Significant experience (1–2 years) in grocery, retail, or delivery operations within a fast-paced environment. Problem-Solving Skills: Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement practical solutions on-site. Technical Literacy: Familiarity with mobile/tablet applications and a strong ability to troubleshoot basic hardware issues. Mobility: A valid UAE driving licence and access to your own car are required for this field-based role. Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to train staff and collaborate effectively with diverse store teams. Nice to Have Experience working in a "dark store" or ultra-fast delivery environment. Advanced understanding of inventory management and stock accuracy metrics. Why Join Us?
