This position works closely with the Finance team and program leaders and is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with a passion for nonprofit work.\nKey ResponsibilitiesMaintain the general ledger, including journal entries, reconciliations, and month-end closePrepare and review monthly bank and balance sheet reconciliationsAssist with preparation of monthly and annual financial statementsTrack and reconcile restricted and unrestricted funds in accordance with donor and grant requirementsSupport budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysisAssist with grant reporting and compliance documentationPrepare schedules and documentation for annual audit and Form 990Process accounts payable and accounts receivable as neededEnsure compliance with GAAP and nonprofit accounting standardsSupport continuous improvement of accounting processes and internal controlsQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field2–5 years of accounting experience; nonprofit experience preferredKnowledge of GAAP; familiarity with fund accounting a plusProficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, or similar)Strong Excel skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlinesStrong written and verbal communication skills\n$65,000 - $85,000 a year\n#GHJSS #LI-SV1
