GHJ’s relationship with our Global Advisory and Accounting Network provides the resources needed to better understand client’s needs, attract a higher caliber of candidates and assess candidate potential.Overview:We are seeking a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to support the day-to-day accounting functions for a growing property management and development company based in West Hollywood. This position reports directly to the Controller and offers the chance to be his right-hand as the team expands.\nResponsibilities:Assist with the monthly accounting close process for multiple entities, including preparing and reviewing workpapersOversee and review property financial information.Monthly comparison of income and expenses to budget with review of variance analysis and account reconciliationsAnalysis of financial data and support with ad hoc projectsMonthly financial statement reporting to management, lenders, and investorsLoan processing or lender reporting experienceCoordinate and prepare work papers provided to the tax preparer and auditorsAssist with automating and streamlining processesWorkflow or revenue process implementationExperience compiling draw packagesCAM reconciliation and managementAssist with distributionsAny other responsibilities that may be assigned from time to timeQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Related Field preferred5+ years' experience in real estatePrivate Equity/Public Accounting experience a plusDetail-oriented with superior organizational skillsTeam leadership or supervisory experienceYardi administration and training experienceIntermediate to advanced with MS Office.\n$90,000 - $120,000 a yearBenefits:Benefit package includes medical, dental, vision, 401K with company match, paid time off, and holidays.\n#GHJSS #LI-MO1
