The role is responsible for day-to-day accounting duties including general ledger maintenance, journal entries, assisting with the audit and more.\nKey ResponsibilitiesEssential FunctionsAccurately code and post all cash receipts to the appropriate general ledger and accountsPrepare monthly cash receipts reports and corresponding payables reports Reconcile and balance cash receiptsAssist with the annual financial audit as requestedPrepare and post journal entries, including cost allocations, grant activity, and monthly accrualsPerform the annual physical inventory of fixed assets and maintain the fixed asset tracking systemQualificationsQualificationsBachelor’s degree required; Accounting or a related field strongly preferredDemonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential informationStrong attention to detail with a high degree of accuracyProficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced working knowledge of ExcelBenefits100% employer-paid medical, dental, and vision coverage4+ weeks of paid time offOne paid Friday off each month, plus paid holidays and your birthday offHybrid work schedule available after training period\n$75,000 - $85,000 a year\n#GHJSS #LI-SV1
