Here’s your chance to be a part of the Meesho success story!???? As Deputy Manager - Reporting (Finance), you will be one among the 50+ professionals working in domains such as Financial Reporting, Finance Operations, Business Finance, Treasury Management and Taxation. The team consists of Chartered Accountants, Business experts and Engineers, who have previously worked for internationally renowned organizations.About the RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Manager -Finance who will lead the Financial reporting and Audit facilitation, at Meesho. This role provides an unique opportunity to be an integral part of the core team responsible for publishing financial results as Meesho is about to embark its journey as a listed company. This role requires to manage the Company's monthly book closure, timely prepafinancial statements preparation, accounting for non-standard transactions, key areas such as ESOPs, related party transactions and derivatives. \nWhat you will doDevelop & maintain timely & accurate financial statements and reports that are appropriate for the users and in accordance with GAAP.Guide finance stakeholders in finalizing correct accounting treatments for new & upcoming LOBs.Implement automated systems for consolidation of subsidiary financials into the group company.Coordinate and oversee the external audit process with Big 4 auditor including resolution of audit findings.Collaborate with peer teams (eg: FP&A, IR) for MD&A, annual report preparation, resolving investor queries etc.Implement industry best practices for month closing with accurate provisioning ensuring that the monthly financials are complete, accurate and highly reliable for strategic decision making.Conduct thorough analysis of financial performance and variances to ensure financial health and operational efficiency.Oversee all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger and payroll.Supervise and manage the accounts payable team in processing invoices accurately and efficiently for trade payments of >$3bn and non-trade payments of >$1bn.Set up systems for maintaining positive vendor relationships through effective communication and timely issue resolution.Maintain strong banking relationships and implement innovative solutions for receivables, payouts, working capital etc Manage and mentor a team of accountants and financial professionals.What you will needQualified Chartered Accountant with 2-3 years of post qualification experience with audit experience in Big 5 and experience of handling Accounts / Audit in startups.Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures, financial reporting, and financial data analysis.Experience with financial management software and ERP systems.Demonstrated experience in Business Partnering & external stakeholder management.Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.Strong bias for speed for execution.Ability to multitask, think critically and execute tactically.Have a proven track record of finding innovative solutions to problems.\n
