To thrive in this role, you must be self-motivated, operationally minded, eager to lead, and ready to help build strong accounting structure within a fun, collaborative environment.\nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following (other duties may be assigned):Manage accounting functions specific to body shop operationsOversee revenue, parts, labor, sublet, supplements, and insurance-related financial workflowsReconcile repair orders, estimates, and financial data between shop systems and accounting systemsWork directly within CCC (CCC One) or similar estimating/management platformsEnsure accurate integration between CCC and accounting softwarePerform reconciliations for AR, AP, deposits, and insurance receivablesSupport month-end and year-end close for body shop entitiesPrepare and review financial reports for shop leadership and managementIdentify discrepancies and operational gaps between shop activity and financial reportingPartner with operations teams to improve financial processes and controlsDevelop and document standardized accounting procedures for body shop locationsTrain, mentor, and support staff accountantsReview work for accuracy, completeness, and consistencyAssist Accounting Manager & Controller with projects, reporting, and process improvementsExhibit a team-first mindset and jump in wherever neededEducation and/or Experience:Prior body shop / collision repair accounting experience (strongly preferred)Strong understanding of body shop workflows (ROs, estimates, supplements, insurance billing, parts, labor, sublet)3+ years of relevant accounting experienceExperience with multi-location or multi-entity operationsCCC (CCC One) experience strongly preferredProficient in accounting systems and financial software (NetSuite or QuickBooks a plus)Strong Excel and data reconciliation skillsExperience training or developing accounting staffHighly organized with exceptional attention to detailStrong written and verbal communication skillsA self-starter who takes initiative and solves problemsAble to work independently and collaborativelyEmployees on our team are successful because they possess the following:Knowledgeable.
