About UntilUntil is a moonshot company building a “pause button” for biology. Our near-term focus is organ-scale reversible cryopreservation: preserving donated organs at subzero temperatures without ice formation, then rewarming them uniformly for transplant. By solving this challenge, we are laying the foundation for whole-body reversible cryopreservation, giving patients a bridge to future cures. To achieve our goal, we are assembling an interdisciplinary team to develop perfusion systems, cryoprotectant formulations, and vitrification and rewarming hardware. We envision a future where no transplantable organ is lost to logistics, and no terminal diagnosis is final because patients can safely wait for future medicine to arrive. About the RoleWe’re looking for a highly reliable, detail-oriented university intern to support both business operations and lab operations through a rotational role. This is a paid, hands-on position for someone who enjoys being in the middle of things — helping systems run smoothly, learning how a fast-moving biotech operates, and executing on real operational work. This role is ideal for a student interested in biotech, operations, lab environments, or startups who wants exposure to both the scientific and business sides of an early-stage company.\nWhat You'll DoInternal Operations Support:Act as a flexible “Swiss army knife” for the operations team, supporting a wide range of business needs as they ariseAssist with outreach, coordination, and scheduling (email follow-ups, calendar management, light research)Support planning and execution of conferences, recruiting events, and internal eventsAssist with documentation, tracking, and light data entry to keep operations running smoothlyTake on ad hoc operational projects and errands to unblock the teamLab Operations Support:Assist with day-to-day lab operations errands (receiving packages, restocking supplies, returns, equipment coordination)Coordinate pickups, drop-offs, and deliveries related to lab work (samples, equipment, materials)Help maintain lab organization and cleanliness standardsSupport inventory tracking and basic lab logisticsAssist lab team members with operational setup tasks as neededRotational / Learning Component:Rotate between lab ops and broader operations work based on weekly needsGain exposure to how operations supports R&D, people, and company scalingTake on increasing ownership and responsibility as you rampWho You AreHave a can-do attitude and are happy to roll up your sleevesCurrently enrolled in a university program (undergraduate or master’s)Highly dependable, organized, and detail-orientedComfortable with hands-on, in-person work and running errandsAble to follow instructions carefully and execute reliablyComfortable working in a lab environment (training provided)Interest in biotech, operations, or startups is a plusNice to HaveExperience working in a fast-paced or startup environmentWhat You’ll GetExposure to real-world biotech operationsHands-on experience supporting both lab and company operationsClose collaboration with scientists, engineers, and operations leadersA practical understanding of how early-stage biotech companies run day to dayMentorship and learning opportunities across functions\n$30 - $40 an hour\n
